Age meme: Lucia Cascade

Another age meme, this time of my previous Empire character Lucia. This her at ages 1, 5, 10, 15, 18, and 20.

I had a lot of fun playing around with light and shadow with this, especially in the last one. Lucia spent a lot of her life feeling caught between the Night realm and the Day realm, and I wanted the last picture to reflect that duality. The runes on the orbs she's holding are Aesh (the Day rune of Thought) and Zorech (the Night rune of Passion).

Another reference to the magic of Empire is on the sorting toy in the first picture; the pattern on the sides is the constellation of the Phoenix, whose sphere is learning.
